Hart, O'Reilly surnames

I looked at the 1832 Tithe Applotment listings for Killashandra civil parish. I found a Patt Hart in Drumbess townland listed in the Tithes. http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/reels/tab//004625671/004625671_00158.pdf

I also looked at the 1856 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Killashandra parish. There was no Patrick Hart but there was a Mary Hart living in Drumbess townland. What might be Mary Harte?s death was registered in Cavan town Jul ? Sept 1884, vol 3, page 41. Est year of birth 1799.

You can order a photocopy from GRO Roscommon for ?4 per certificate. Put the place, year, quarter, volume & page number on the application form (anywhere). Don?t worry about leaving some boxes blank. You don?t need to fill them all in if you have the reference details. http://www.groireland.ie/ You have to post or fax the form to them but they will e-mail the copy certificate to you if you wish. Tick the relevant box on the form.

You could search the revaluation records to see when Mary Hart vacated the farm (plot 2, which was a farmhouse, outbuildings and just over 22 acres), and who succeeded her. The records are not on-line and you would need to contact the Valuation Office in Dublin. Looks to me as though the famr passed to a married daughter and her husband.

Can't see any wills listed for the Hart family, post 1858.

A sisgnifican tportion of the 1841 census for Killeshandra has survived. there's a copy in PRONI, Belfats and presumably one in the National Library, Dublin. You might wnat to check those out. (I don't think they are on-line anywhere).
