Dear John,
I will see can I help you, I live quite a bit away from Killeshandra, closer to Co. Meath border, but I will see what I can find for you. If she was born in 1818/19, you would hope that she would be in the 1851 census for Killeshandra as it is one of the few places with a census for that year, I could not locate her but I did find a reference to a Robert Scott and it is attached here, http://censussearchforms.nationalarchives.ie/reels/c19/007246680/007246… you may wish to look through the remainder of the entries and you may find something that may help you. Of course she may have married and changed her name. On this site http://www.genealogy.nationalarchives.ie you will find links to a number of different records, they are all free to search and may give you further clues they are:
Prerogative and diocesan copies of some wills and indexes to others, 1596 – 1858
Diocesan and Prerogative Marriage Licence Bonds Indexes, 1623 – 1866
Catholic qualification & convert rolls, 1700 – 1845
Valuation Office house, field, tenure and quarto books 1824 – 1856
Shipping agreements and crew lists, 1863 – 1921
Will Registers 1858 – 1900
The Irish Government has also arranged for the the civil records to be place on line for free, there are images for some and the remainder will be loaded up in due course at https://www.irishgenealogy.ie They include Indexes to the Civil Records of Irish Births, Deaths and Marriages date from 1864 with non-Roman Catholic Marriages recorded from 1845. The indexes to Births over 100 years old, the indexes to Marriages over 75 years old and the indexes to Deaths over 50 years old. The church records are not fully computerised for this site but are available at RootsIreland.ie, it is fee paying. Catholic records are available for free http://registers.nli.ie they are not searcheable and you must peruse the original pages, which are not too easy to read.
I googled the name Scott and Killeshandra and the name is currently still in the area, you could write directly to these people, with the hope that they would respond to you and you may be in luck if they were related to her. Another way to find relatives of hers and hopefully more information would be to reach out to the public through the local paper the Anglo Celt you can write to the editor at linda@ anglocelt.ie and include as much information as you can together with your contact details, I know some people have had success through this media.
With the absent of a full census and civil records the other records you could search would be the land records, which are used as substitutes, these would be the Tithe Applotments available for free at http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/search/tab/home.jsp and Griffiths Valuations found at http://www.askaboutireland.ie These fall short of her years but may produce names of her male relatives as usually women did not hold property unless they were widowed. The Will Calendars are also useful to search, available at http://www.willcalendars.nationalarchives.ie/search/cwa/home.jsp the hope would be that she may have left a will or be named as an executor or heir.
Cavan Co Library also have some archived items online which you can search at http://www.cavanlibrary.ie/Default.aspx?StructureID_str=17 the library may also have some history books on Killeshandra and they could give you the names and authors of these publications, which may assist you further and you can also contact cavangenealogy@eircom.net they will conduct searches for you for a fee.
You could also write to the local churches, and they may have someone who could look in the local cemeteries for relevant headstones or indeed they may have their own records which could help you.
I hope I have given you a few pointers in your search and please let me know if you have had any success or if I can help in any other way.
Best of Luck Regards Carmel

Hi RascOO and others,
I also have Scotts from Drumkilroosk, including an Elizabeth Scott recorded in 1841 Census as born about 1822. I have never been able to find out more about this Elizabeth, nor find information on her two sisters, and parents Alexander and Ellen Scott. I have loads of information on the 3 sons.
I have contributed lists of Baptisms, Marriages and Burials that took place at Killeshandra C. of I, to IGP Archives and included in these lists is an Elizabeth Scott baptised 27 June 1820, daughter of Robert and Jane Scott from Tully.
Any information on Alexander, wife Ellen, and daughters Elizabeth, Frances, and Catherine (all in 1841 Census) would be so welcome. I haven't any death records for them, also lacking possible marriages or emigration for the three daughters. I have searched all usual archives.joy
