Trying to trace history of the McINTYRE family from Skeagh. My Great Grandmother was Margaret McIntyre (date of birth unknown) her brother was John Patrick McIntyre born 1855 and died 1930. Margaret McIntyre (my G. Grandmother) married Terence (O') REILLY and John Patrick McIntyre married Catherine DUFFY?
One of John Patricks sons Francis (Frank) married Alice LENNON and I think he and Alice remaiined on the family farm until their death's.
I would be interested in any information about any of the families mentioned

You could try checking the land records called the Tithe Applotment Books (1823-38) or the later Griffith's Valuation (1848-64) if you haven't already. The Tithe Applotment Books (1823-38): Microfilm copies of the books for all of Ireland are available at the National Archives of Ireland (NAI)http://www.nationalarchives.ie/genealogy1/genealogy-records/tithe-applotment-books-and-the-primary-griffith-valuation/ or the Church of Latter Day Saints (LDS). Griffith's is freely available here: www.askaboutireland.com or here:www.failteromhat.com Failte Romhat has lots of other useful links you could try looking at.Or are you looking for living relatives, let me know & I can ask some people in that area.Where did your Terence O'Reilly come from? Please let me know..
