Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I looked at the civil index records and did see the four birth records you mentioned in your note. I then looked for civil marriage index records and there were none in the Cootehill registration district and none with the names mentioned above. I also checked the 1901 Irish census and there were no Drumgool records in all of Ireland.
I did locate an 1873 death index record for Patrick so it looks like hed died at age 1.

I did see the 1902 death index record for James Sr.but no record for Mary Anne. I'm surprised I did not find a 1901 census record for James unless his name was spelled differently or mistranscribed.

Drumgool is often spelt Drumgoole. See link to Census, James Drumgoole aged 64, a widower in 1901 is a possibility, ack a differance in age. http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Cavan/Cootehill/Church…
There is also an Edward Drumgoll aged 22 in 1901 living in Co Down but states born in Co Cavan. http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Down/Ormeau/Agra_Stree…

Gerlish:
Thanks. I think you found the correct James. 1901 census ages were almost always understated for adults. The Edward record looks like a likely possibility.

Thanks Clare log in ok.
Roger/Gerlish.Thanks for your help so far.Roger.I have a copy of Mary Anne Drumgool death cert.Entry First Page No.81.5/3/1901.Cootehill.
Gerlish. The spelling of the surnames is a real problem. My grand father born in Scotland was Drumgool on his birth cert.and Drumgold on his marriage cert.and that has been the family name for the next 4 Generations.
My GGF James Drumgool was mentioned in 1881 Scotland Census.Marriage in Glasgow 1885.No other mention of him in the 1891,1901.His wife Anne Masterson.Chur.Bat.Rc.4/7/1852. Drumlane was living in her fathers home 1891 Sc.cen.with 2 young kids.1901.Sc.cen states Anne is a widow but no death cert.in Scotland can be found for James.
In the search for his death cert.i will try the rest of uk.
In the search for the siblings a witness at his wedding is Katie Drumgool prob.Catherine his sister.but no other mention of her in any Sc.cen.or marr.cert.
I would like to visit Cootehill and wonder if any local school or church records are available.
