I'm looking for information about the families of Patrick Reilly (b. 1837) and Mary Lynch (b. 1847) who are listed as living in Barconny (Grattan) at the time of the 1901 and 1911 censuses.
I was told that Patrick's mother immigrated to the United States with several of his siblings leaving him behind (due to a physical disability) and that these siblings later moved out to San Francisco, California and Anaconda, Montana. I do not, however, have any information the names or dates of these family members.
I visited Barconny in November 2013, but unfortunately there are no longer any Reillys or Lynches in the townland. Patrick and Mary had 11 children (Lawrence (b. 1883), Bernard, Patrick (b. 1876), Mary (b. 1882), Catherine, Anna, Ellen (b. 1890), Roseanne, Margaret, John (b. 1873), and James (b. 1896)). Lawrence and Mary definitely immigrated to the United States and it is suspected that most of their siblings left Ireland as well, although I do not have any information on who immigrated where.
Please let me know if you have any information on this family.
Thanks!

http://cavan.rootsireland.ie/quis.php has several Patrick Reilly baptism records for 1837. It is a pay to view site but may give you his parents' names. With this info you could do a baptism search for his siblings.

Hi Kathleen
There are also 6 Mary Lynch Cavan baptism records on www.rootsireland.ie/
3 are of Mary Anne so you might be able to eliminate them.

Thanks so much for your prompt response! I was trying to avoid using the pay-per-view sites as I know the costs will add up very quickly, especially given how common these names are, but at this point it may be my best option.

Hi MMReilly - seems like your family is likely a different branch. I have Patricks and Bernards, but none of them were born around 1899. Did your family immigrate to New York?
