Have been fortunate to trace my great grandfather (Matthew) back to the town of Clonkeffy during the 1821 census. Harry was the father, Catherine the mother.
Matthew and his sister Catherine emigrated to the US in the early 1830's. Survived in Ireland (at time of census) by sister Mary, and brothers James and Thomas.
Looking for help regarding these family members and their descendants.

Hi,
Thank you for your message.
Have you tried looking for information in Church records? Most Catholic records are held locally. One website which you may find helpful is the Irish Times where they give you an overview of what records are available in specific parishes. For Castlerahan parish follow this link:
For Church of Ireland records check http://ireland.anglican.org/about/42 and http://www.nationalarchives.ie/. The Anglican Record Project is has created an index to their records: http://ireland.anglican.org/cmsfiles/pdf/AboutUs/library/AngRecord/bunclodyunionindex.pdf
You can also do a search on Family Search, this is a huge database of genealogical records compiled by the Church of the Latter Day Saints. You may be able to find baptismal/marriage records for members of the family. Here is the link: https://familysearch.org/
Have you tried looking at the land records pertaining to Ireland in the 19th century? These do not offer any genealogical information but they can sometimes be used to connect a person to a specific place at a specific time. As there are no complete census records prior to 1901 these can sometimes act as a good substitute. There are two:
The Tithe Applotment Books (1823-1838) found at http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/search/tab/home.jsp
and Griffith?s Valuation (1848-1864) found at http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/
Civil registration began in Ireland in 1864. These records are available at the General Registers Office in Dublin, however you can do a search of the indexes online at:
https://familysearch.org/search/collection/1408347
The next records available in Ireland are the 1901/1911 census records. These can offer lots of useful information and can be searched here:
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/
Some other websites which you may find useful in your research are:
The National Archives of Ireland http://www.nationalarchives.ie/genealogy1/genealogy-records/introduction/
The National Library of Ireland http://www.nli.ie/en/family-history-introduction.aspx
The National Archives UK ? genealogy search: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/records/looking-for-person/
The Public Records Office of Northern Ireland http://www.proni.gov.uk/index/family_history.htm
The US National Archives: http://www.archives.gov/
