Hi, I've already posted this message, not noticing that it was for Dublin area! The above couple had Catherine abt 1814 , she married James Carberry and settled in Kilsyth, Scotland. also Patrick who settled in Renfrewshire, Scotland. I need to know if there was more children. Hopefully someone reading this is researching this couple or could point me to where I can look up records. Thanks

Dear Angusbag:
Thank you for your post and for the clarification about the county. We have a wonderful Northern Ireland volunteer who will be able to direct your query and I will copy this to him for his reference.
Thank you for your interest in Ireland Reaching Out. If you have any further information about this family that you would like to post, feel free to do so.
Kind regards,
Jane.

Angusbag,
Catherine’s marriage to James Carberry is in the records for the RC parish of Clonoe, Tyrone on 22.12.1833. The witnesses were John M’Donnell (ie McDonnell) and illegible Gillespy. You can view that on Ancestry or on the nli site. https://registers.nli.ie
Unfortunately most RC parish registers for the 1830s don’t give you a lot of information eg no parents names, addresses or occupations.
Clonoe RC’s baptism start in 1810, and marriages in 1806, with some gaps. Queen is not a common surname in Ireland and I’d suspect the mother’s maiden name was Quinn, but I might be wrong. You may want to search the parish register for Catherine & Patrick’s birth and that of any siblings.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes, I had suspected the Queen/Quinn as I have DNA matches to Quinn and I did wonder . Also got reply from someone in Australia who clarified this. Will try and find records you mentioned. Thanks againl
