Do you know where in Cavan she was born? Most Irish record sources are based on specific locations-usually parishes. Do you have any documentation pertaining to Bridget that mentions a more specific place such as a townland/parish/village?

Have you looked into her emigration much? Generally more information was given at the port of arrival rather than that of departure. If you knew where she entered Canada it may be a place to find more information-and perhaps even an exact place of origin. Perhaps you could try searching for her parents in the Tithe Applotment Books. These are land records compiled between 1823 and 1837 in order to determine the amount which occupiers of agricultural holdings should pay in tithes to the Church of Ireland. If you can find either of her parents (and providing a large amount of results are not returned) it may give you a parish name. You can search these here:
