Antrim with her uncle (my grandfather Hugh Smyth & his wife Martha.  Would love to know what happened to her.

James Pattison died c 10/05/1880. Lavin Co. Antrim.  Would like to confirm his age at death (?Birth year) and if there are details of his birthplace, would be wonderful.

  • Records of death in Northern Ireland from 1921 onwards are not on-line anywhere. So for Charlotte?s death you need to contact GRONI in Belfast who can search for you (and where you can order a copy of the certificate). http://www.nidirect.gov.uk/gro

For James Pattison, there is a death registered in Ballymoney which more or less fits the information you have given. Registered Apr ? Jun 1880, estimated year of birth 1805. You can order that from GRONI too, or a cheaper option is to order a photocopy from GRO Roscommon. That will only cost ?4. If ordering from Roscommon, give them the place, quarter, year, plus Volume 1, page 127, and that will enable them to find the relevant entry easily.

Irish death certificates don?t contain the place of birth so can?t help you with that.
