I was searching for a great uncle who was born in 1887 at Ballyterim,Cushendun.Parish of Loughguile.

He emigrated to Canada in November 1909 aged 22 yrs.The last Record of him I have is at the port of Montreal,Quebec District.Crossing the Border but lost him after that.Maybe you are able to help me.

I wonder if he married or where he is buried.?Many thanks Mary Trewern

    The birthplace seems correct, found his baptism in Cushendun County Antrim, date of baptism 24-May-1887, father Michael McCormick mother Rose O'Neill

    As Michael Jr emigrated it is very likely that if he married and died in Canada or in the USA but not in Ireland

    there is a Michael McCormick in the 1920 US census - age and date of emigration are similar - might not be your Michael.
