At the top of the Peninsula is Ballyhiernan Bay. This is an exposed and windswept beach looking straight out to the Atlantic Ocean and because of this it is the place to catch the surf!
It really is the rough, rugged and wild kind of beach that will blow all your cobwebs away.
Adventure One Surf School
The Adventure One Surf School operates from this beach throughout the tourist season and is a fantastic experience for beginners or improvers young and old. Luke and his team offer expert and professional tuition, equipment, lots of encouragement and above all great fun!
