White/Mullen family 1845 Kilshalvey.

The baptismal records for Kilshalvey parish start in 1842 so  arecord for Patrick would not be available if he was baptized in the parish. Do you have any other info on Patrick's family such as parents names or siblings? I looked at the 1858 Griffiths Valuation head of household listings for Kilshalvy, Cloonoghil and Kilturra civil parishes and the only White record I located was for a Catherine White in Knocknakillew or Woodhill townland. Thanks Roger, I'm afraid thats all i have on Patrick and apart from the marriage record, everything else comes from the UK census, so no records of parents or siblngs, my search stops with him!  My only hope is that he comes up as Pat Whyte in the Kilshalvey record but that may be the recoders preference rather than his!  But I will widen the searches with the additional parishes you have mentioned!  Do you happen to know if these are still geographical ares that can be identifies as I have a couple of days in the area in June!  Once again, thanks and regards!  Anthony White

I assume you will have a car. Not sure what direction you are coming from. If you use Google Maps, and enter Kilturra and Kilshalvy, you will get an idea where they are located just north of the Mayo border and south of Ballymote. I did not see Cloonoghil but it would be north of Kilturra.
