Hi,
I've found my third great grandfather and grandmother were John Walsh (b. 1811) and Jane Walsh (nee Simmons b. 1812) who emigrated to Liverpool from Waterford. I can't find any more going back from that and I wanted to see if anyone could help with any additional information? Or where I could start looking for it?
Thanks!
Kim

Kim:
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I searched on the subscription site Roots Ireland and found a September 18 1833 marriage for John Walsh and Janet Simmons with witnesses John Kelly and Margaret Kelly.
I also located baptismal records for two children: William Henry baptized August 31 1834 Mother was shown as Janet Mary Simmons Sponsors Anthony Phelan Mary Ann Simmons
and Mary Ann baptized March 7 1836 Sponsors James Power Mary Walsh Both baptisms in St. John's
I also found an 1809 baptismal record for a Janet Simmons on December 1 1809 at the Trinity Within Cathedral parish parents William Simmons and Margaret Gibbons. Possibly this is the record for your ancestor.
There are too many John Walsh baptismal records to find one for your John Walsh.

Hi Roger,
This is amazing, thank you so much! I will have a look at Roots Ireland myself and see if I can find anything else for some other family members.
Thanks again,
Kim
