Hello. I am trying to reach Leslie and Jennifer Wakefield in Urrachree, Aughrim, before my wife and I travel to Ireland this summer. If anyone has contact information for them, it would would be much appreciated. I have mailed them a letter, but didn't have a physical address (only Urrachree, Aughrim) so I'm not sure if they received it.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello Nick and Patricia,
I have Wakefield roots stemming from David Wakefield and Mary Wade of Aughrim. My husband and I are traveling to Ireland this December and would like to contact relatives. My familiynow lives in Chesterfield, Mo, but my father (Werner) was born in Morris, IL. Family decendants from PA and Iowa. Also interesting info on two members who signed declaration of independence and Samual Wakefield, renoun Methodist minster, author of " The Wakefield Theology". I would love to find more info and connect with relatives. If you were able to connect with anyone in Ireland, I would appreciate the info. Thanks much, Nancy

Hi Nancy. Unfortunately, I'm not sure Leslie and Jennifer ever received our letter so we weren't able to meet with them. However, we were able to locate the old family land and drive the property (and past their current home). If you'd like more info, just send me an email and I'll be happy to share. Thanks.

Hello,
This email chain is a little dated. But same with Nick, I too would like to visit Aughgrim, Galway to visit/tour ancestral homes. I'm wondering if someone can send me directions to the Wakefield ancestral home? I believe there is a Wakefield county there. Hopefully a Wakefield descendant reaches this email. Regards
John
