Thomas Sheedy was an immigrant to Buffalo, NY,  in September of 1849.  He took a letter from a judge of his intention to become a citizen to Tippecanoe, Lafayette, Indiana, and got married to Ellen Moylan (Elin Moylin their spelling on paperwork) on Feb 2, 1855.  They had two children, Catherine in 1856 and Frank Thomas in 1858.  There is evidence in this town's cemetery next to his headsone for an infant born in 1859. He was killed in a quarry accident on Oct 5, 1859 in Lafayette. I can find a lot of Moylin (Moylan) information. and even Ellen Moylan information, but nothing definite for my Ellen.  I also cannot find Thomas Sheedy's immigration record.  Needless to say if I can't get back to Ireland from here, I have nothing to explore from.  I have a number of birth records that could fit and they are all on his page on Ancestry.com in my tree     *A. Cynthia Sperry Fifield--John Myron Price MAIN TREE.   Does anyone know anything about this Thomas Sheedy or of the quarry accident?  Thank you so much!                                                                                                                                                                                                    Leslie Sheedy Lintz
