I searched ths subscription site Roots Ireland and did not find a marriage record for the couple and I also did not locate any baptismal records.

You don't mention the religious denomination of Mary and Timothy. The RC records for Ballinasloe start in 1820  https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0324

Church of Ireland marriage and baptismal records are  not on Roots Ireland.   This list of C of I parish records indicates that Ballinasloe baptismal records start in 1823 and are held locally.

Did Mary and Timothy emigrate or remain in Ireland?

  • Thank you so much for your response and your effort. Timothy Mckeigue and Mary Goode Mckeigue stayed in Ireland. Timothy had a son Timothy Mckeigue JR who married Mary Gorman. They and two of their children emigrated to the US about 1850. I appreciate you looking up Mary Goode. Perhaps my information on her being from Ballinasloe is faulty.

  • Roger, Timothy Mckeigue the son, born June 1 1822, may have lived in Brackernaugh.

I searched on the subscription site Roots Ireland and did not find the 1822 baptismal record or the marriage to Mary Gorman. I also did not find any baptismal records for their children.

I don't know if you have tested your DNA. There is a Facebook group which focuses on people from East Galway which would include Ballinasloe  https://www.facebook.com/groups/eastgalwaygenealogy/   You may want to join the group even if you have not tested your DNA.

If Timothy was from Brackernagh, they should have attended the Ballinasloe church so I'm a bit puzzled.
