Hello all,
In many of the records I'm researching, I find reference sometimes to Swineford and sometimes to Swinford. Are these two names for the same place, perhaps at different times? Or are they two different locations, or perhaps two different municipal entities?
Thanks in advance for shedding light on this!

Same place. You see Swineford more earlier in the 19th century--- see the 1855 Griffiths for Kilconduff civil parish which includes Swineford https://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths/mayo/kilconduff.htm
Later in the 19th century and closer to 1900, Swinford is more prevalent.
