Patrick Murphy was born approximately 1815 somewhere in Offaly County. He married Mary Dillon on 12 April 1834, records show Ballinahown, Diocese Ardagh. The marriage was witnessed by James Mullen and Anne Dillon.I have some evidence that they immigrated to the US in 1851, with their three children, Charles, Anne and Daniel.
I believe Patrick and Mary settled in NYC but I can't be sure. I find records of their children in Augusta, Georgia starting in 1860. My great-grandfather is Daniel, in the 1860 US census he is working as blacksmith in Augusta. I have information on all three children and their lives in Augusta.
I have tried to find Patrick's and Mary's parents but have not been successful.
Any information would be appreciated,

Thank you for your response. I have the records for Charles and Anne. I have not yet found information on Daniel Lyons Murphy. I do know that the family immigrated to the US in 1851. I have records of them arriving in New York. Oddly enough, the family didn't travel together. Patrick arrived first, followed by Charles, then Anne, with Mary and Daniel being the last to reach New York.
My next trip to Ireland will be to County Offaly to see where my Murphy line began.
I will keep searching records information on Patrick and Mary.
Thanks you,
