Seeking Galloway's

I’m seeking any Galloway Male who worked/owned a steel company or ship yard around 1898. Dublin, Galway, Cork, England? 

My Great Grandfather (Daniel James Manning - his adopted last name but was a Galloway) was his child. James Daniel Manning (Galloway) was born on January 22, 1898, in Yorkshire Bridge, Derbyshire, England. He died on December 10, 1979, in New Westminster, British Columbia, at the age of 81. 

My Great Grandfather's biological father was the Galloway male in and around 1898. His mother, my GG Grandmother was Amy Gulliver. She and her twin sister Edith were born in 1874 in Piddington, Northamptonshire, England, their father, John, was 32 and their mother, Miriam, was 23. (Her parents are John Gulliver & Miriam Gulliver (nee James).

Amy left England and arrived 1 Apr 1910 • to St John, New Brunswick, Canada then lived in BC for the remainder of her life where she died June 20, 1954, in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, when she was 80 years old.

The Galloway male's lawyers travelled to Canada, greater Vancouver area in British Columbia when my Great Grampa was around 20 so around 1918? I don't know the exact dates they came but he was older than a teen I think. My GG Gramma Amy told the lawyers that the baby she had with the Galloway male did not make it because she was heartbroken about the situation.

I really need to solve this mystery. I am a Galloway descendant and know nothing of that side of my family.
