Hello
I have posted complete details of my ancestors William Robinson of Galloon and Anne Vance of Lisnaskea at the Galloon site. William and Anne lived in Screevagh and emigrated to Canada in 1831 William Robinson had older brother Thomas married to Ann Thornton in Ireland. I believe that father of William and Thomas was Neal perhaps Cornelius.
Any information of Ribinsons in Screevagh or nearby would be appreciated.
Thanks

You haven’t said what denomination the family was. IF RC the parish records don’t start till 1853. If Church of Ireland they start in 1798. So you might find some marriages and baptisms in those records. (Copy in PRONI in Belfast).
Cornelius is not a common name in Co. Fermanagh. Just 12 in the 1901 census. All were RC.
No Robinsons in Screevagh in Griffiths Valuation, nor in the tithe applotment records 1834. So they all seem to have left the area.

You are up against the 1800 barrier beyond which Irish research is notoriously difficult due to the lack of records.
