My great grandfather is Patrick Myers (with a possible 'T' as a middle initial) was born in Mayo County in 1837. I have searched for his birth and family for four to five years. I know he migrated to England, married Mary Coleman, born 26 Nov 1837. They has several children, then moved to Massachusetts around 1869-70 and had more children.
I would appreciate anyone that could assist me in locating my great grandfather. Information could be directly sent to me at tosjmyers@gmail.com.
My tree is open to the public in Ancestry, My Heritage, Family Search under my name, Stephen J Myers Jr.
Thank you.

Myers was not a common surname in Co. Mayo in the mid-19th century. The 1855 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Co. Mayo only had two Myers records: Andrew Myers from Castletown Townland in Lackan civil parish and John Myers from Cartron townland in Killasser civil parish. The subscription site Roots Ireland did not have any Patrick Myers baptismal records in Co. Mayo until 1874. There were many Patrick Myers/Myres baptismal records in the 1830s in other counties.
