After posting my last message I received a few replies one of which sent me in the right direction. I have since found my family and a small piece of the puzzle. Patrick Conway of Clashmelcon and Margaret McNamara were married in BALLYBUNION in 1837 however it appears as though Patrick may have been married to a Mary Joy prior to 1824. They had 4 children between 1824 and 1836. One of which was my 2G grandfather John of Chicago US born in 1833 August. His dad Patrick also migrated to the US in around 1847-49. It is unknown where he left from Ireland or landed in the US but he died approximately 9 months after he arrived so I am told. After he left his family was evicted from the home in Clashmelcon by Wilson Gun in 1849 where the stayed in a stable on land leased by the Slatterys. Margaret died in 1887 but the children I believe left for the US all at different times with the exception of two HONORA b1824 and THOMAS b1826 Any help finding Patrick and his children would be appreciated
