Hi - new member seeking information about my great grandparents, John J. O'Reilly, born Mar. 1818 in townland of Springfield, and Mary Bridget Guilfoyle, born Nov. 1827 in Co. Galway. Unsure whether my great grandfather was born in Co. Westmeath or Co. Offaly - both were Roman Catholic. They had their first child, John, 12 Nov. 1853 in Springfield and left for USA in 1856, where they lived in Chicago. In 1841 my great grandmother attended the Misses Goldings Seminary School in Galway. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
