Hi
I'm looking for information about my 3xgreat grandfather Mark O'Neil. He was from Tipperary, but I don't know where.
He was born around 1823. His mother and father were Thomas O'Neil and Mary Delaney.
I believe he was the youngest of 7 brothers, two of which were called John and Thomas.
I've got information from his time in Wales and Scotland and I know he invested in a coal mine in Castlecomer.
I'm keen to find out more about where in Tipp he is from.
Cheers
Anthony

Anthony:
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I searched two subscription sites (Roots Ireland and FindMyPast.ie) and did not find a Mark O'Neill (or variant) baptismal record in Co. Tipperary around 1823. In fact, I did not locate any O'Neill baptismal records with parents Thomas and Mary Delaney.
Likely the church where he was baptized no longer has records back to 1823.

Is there anywhere else you could recommend to look for information?

Do you have any idea of where I could find information about his time in Castlecomer? As I mentioned, he invested in a coal mine there. He would have been there approx between 1857 and 1862.
Thanks
