  • Hi,

What were the addresses on the birth and marriage certificates which you received. The parish and townland would be of assistance to anyone who would be connected to them.

    Regards,

  • Thank you for the information on the Earles/Kane family it is very much appreciated,  I have no idea the Parish or Townland they lived in, but Micheal and Ellen Earles (Kane) from Cratloe Clare seem to be right as my GGmother Bridget Earles emigrated to Australia with her sister Mary and brother John and his wife Catherine O'Brian in January 1855 and a younger Mary Earles who was possibly a relative, Bridget married Daniel Courtney another Irish emigrant farmer, who also came from Co Clare (I think) his father was Daniel and his mother Ann Purdon or Purdom,  I am only going by information on my Grandmothers birth certificate, I have yet to find his actual place of birth, and his passenger records when he entered Australia, also I have the Micheal Earles who died in Loughrea in1872 in my tree from another source,  but am not so sure now, if the John Earles who was present at his death was in fact his son, then he might possibly not be my GGGF, as Bridgets brother John was already in Australia, meanwhile I will keep searching, and thank you  once again
