McQuaid, McCort families from Co Tyrone Kilskeery

You haven't said what denomination your families were but I'll assume RC. Unfortunately the RC parish records for Kilskeery don't start till 1840, so researching families 100 years earlier is very difficult. There are no comprehensive records for that century to consult. I have attached the tithe applotment records from 1826. They were a tax on land so mostly detailed farmers and not labourers, servants or others without land. The names McQuaid & McCoart do appear there so that gives you an idea of townlands where they lived but getting into more detailed research for the 1700s is pretty well impossible.
