Hi, I wonder if anyone might have any details on the above person. I have her marriage certificate to a Patrick Weston (seems to be second marriage), and believe her to be the half-sister of my Gt gt Grandmother.
Heres what I know:
She is listed as the daughter of Michael Bulger on her marriage record to Patrick Weston, and the sister of Catherine (Kate) Power on the census.
she is listed as "Mary Power crs Bulger", on the marriage certificate. Her father (Bulger) is listed as deceased.
She is listed as "widowed" on the marriage certificate, and as "of age". Her husband (Weston) likewise.
She appears to have married in kilkenny, but is likely from Carrick-on-Suir or nearby originally, as with her mother, and 'siblings'.
At some point she appears to have lived with my Gt gt grandmother Catherine (Kate) Power (now Healy), her children and husband. She is listed as 'sister' in the census (1901, I believe). She is clearly not the full sister of Catherine, and does not appear in other records that I can find. Indeed, if it were not for the existance of her wedding certificate within the family, i'm not sure i'd know that she exists.

I forgot to mention that it seems the name "Michael Bulger" for Mary's father is likely an error. The transcription gives his name as "Michael Power" --did somebody correct it? Bulger seems to have been the name of her first husband NOT her father; the marriage record clearly states she is a widow.
