Paul:
I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and found a December 11 1851 baptism in the Annaghdown parish in Co. Galway. Father John Wynn and mother Margaret Kelly. I know this date is 10+ years earlier than what you have on records. He had a brother Malachy (actua;ly there were two Malachys-- one baptized October 27 1861 and the other January 18 1863) so presumably the 1861 Malachy died in infancy.
