In planning for my upcoming trip to Barna I've been doing some work on my family tree that I havn't touched in about 7 years. I notice an entree in my tree that I don't have a source for. It's the marriage of my great great grandfather from freeport.  my entry is 

7 Jan 1859

I know i got this entry from the west galway family history society back in 2011 or 2012. Back at that time you had to pay $4.50 for each record and after making your payment you could print out the transcription. Looking through my records I can't find my print out which bothers me since for me an entry in my tree needs to have a documented source since sometimes when I any copying information by hand I miss something. I notice now that the WGFHS is operating on a subscription basis with the smallest entry being $18 per day. I don't have any plans right now to do any more searchs so it seems a bit much to pay $18 to print out a record that I have already purchased. If anyone with access to the transcription service was able to send me a file of the transcription of the above event it would be greatly appreciated!

    Below is the transcription record from the subscription site Roots Ireland which is the central respository for all of the county family history societies.  The NLI site does not have the Rahoon marriage records after 1832  https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0635

    I see i did basically copy everything ok but its nice to have this print out. over past years I have purchased many of these transcriptions and printed them out but for some reason on this one i didn't print it out or possibly I lost it.  I must say that I wish they would find  a way to provide a scan of the register entry to go along with the transcription. Do you think that could ever happen.

    In many cases they do provide a link to the appropriate parish register from the NLI site. I just checked an 1855 record for one of my ancestors and there is a button that sends you to the parish register.
