Looking for my great, great grandfather

You may already be aware of them, but there are records for Patrick and Susannah McGuigan's family in the FamilySearch database [https://www.familysearch.org].  If you search there, you can find Patrick under ID number K2K5-9W9, and can access the records for the others easily through that record, as you will see.

FamilySearch is operated by the LDS church, and is free to use.  You have to create an account to use the database, but they don’t ask for much personal info, and no missionaries will contact you or anything like that.  The database does not have separate family trees, and is essentially one huge tree of linked records, in which there is a single record for each person, with a unique identification number (although sometimes people unknowingly create duplicate records for the same person, which you can merge when you spot them).

The records show your great-grandmother as "Fanny", and show her with 10 siblings.  They also show info for Susannah's parents and two of her siblings.  They don't appear to answer all of your questions, but note that, in each record, at the right hand side of the screen, you can see the screen names of those who have created or modified the record, and can send them private messages, so you might be able to get more info by contacting them (and perhaps also locate some relatives that way).

I’ve also located a Patrick of  the right birth date 1829/30, born to a Patrick married to a Mary McKeon, 12April 1829, sponsors, Charles Rocks and Mary Sherry, residing Granemore, Ballymacnob, Armagh. The couple also come up in earlier and later Griffiths Rolls etc and there are other people of the two surnames who may be cousins etc. Feasible parents for the married couple too. All other Patrick’s born around late 1820/30s do not have a father called Patrick. They are all RC. My great grandfather Patrick (1829) does not feature in any other records I’ve found on all the search engines including the Irish Record Office and NIRl until the 1851 census in UK, then  later with Sussana etc. there’s no direct evidence for the link between Cranemore and the UK census. Cranemore father Patrick is listed as a farmer, no mention of Blacksmith. Unable to find any Irish records that list under professions, nor evidence of apprenticeships etc.

I tried connecting with the parish, but the present extant church was not built until later, and suggestions as to where else to search parishes drew blanks, except one that said no records had survived for the years I needed.

now back to the Mormons in the hope something vital passed me bye.
