Hello, John Grady was from Ballintober and would have been my mother's great grandfather. I am not sure when he died, but it was shortly after 1874 (I think after his last child was born.) I have found his wife's grave, Bridget Grady, and children' s graves in the USA in Taunton, MA. His wife must have traveled here after he died. Very brave of her to come here alone!! One child, Ellen, did not come to the US. Bridget died here from pneumonia.
We visited the Ballintober Cemetery near Garvey's Pub and near the castle that is being excavated when we traveled to Ballintober this past June, but I did not find any grave. A cousin, from England, told me there was no gravestone but that he is buried here. I am wondering about a marker somewhere in this cemetery? Is anyone familiar with this cemetery or another one nearby? I have also been trying to locate records of his birth and death. I have only found records of his marriage to Bridget Hayden and his children's baptisms.

I found this death cert for a John Grady who died in 6th March 1883 in the same registration area as the marriage certificate, could be a possible match? John's is the last entry on the page.

Hello, I am unsure. I have always found him listed as a "tailor". He is listed in the record as a laborer? If I did the math correctly, his wife would have been 39 when he died at 70? Thanks so much for your help.
