Looking for information about the McGillicuddy's. I have a family tree that was put together when a relative visited many years ago. Thade Corney McGillicuddy was the head of the tree. Con and Margaret McGillicuddy, of Annablaha, Kilcummin, Killarney assisted this relative to put the tree together. Supposedly they were living on part of the old homestead. Thade Corney McGillicuddy's son Dennis was married to Julia O'Connor and they had 9 children - Thade (unknown DOB), Con (1853), Ellen (1855), John (1856), Mary (1858), Dennis (1860), Patrick (1862), Hannah (1865), and Margaret (1867). John, Mary, Dennis, Patrick, Hannah and Margaret emigrated to America. I cannot seem to find any information regarding Thade Corney, who he was married to, when he was born etc...Any information would be helpful.

I did not find a baptism for Denis McGillicuddy Sr. in Kilcummin parish. Need to look for other leads.

The Kilcummin RC parish baptismal records go back to 1821 https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0673 I was not able to locate any Denis McGillicuddy baptismal records in the parish before 1850.
The only lead I could find was a January 6 1834 baptism for a Denis McGillicuddy at Killorglin RC church. Father was Timothy and mother Julia Sullivan. Killorglin parish is just to the west of Kilcummin. Denis would have married in 1851 or January 1852 so he would have been 17 possibly 18 when he married.

Thanks Roger, this is helpful information. My sister and I are coming to Ireland at the end of September on a tour and will be in Killarney on the evening of October 2nd and leaving on October 4th. We are super excited to see the countryside in Kerry, especially Macgillycuddy Reeks. I really appreciate you taking the time to look for this information.
