Hi thanks for reading this message, I have been trying to find any information regarding my 3x great grandfather Owen Tochel [ or Tohel ] and his wife Nancy Judge-from Clonfeacle approx 1830's to 1840's,
I know my 3x great grandfather Nancy Judge was born in 1816 and died in 1861...they also had a son named Owen in 1842 his Baptism record which I found from the Irish Catholic Parish Registers, they had two more sons my 2x great grandfather Terence Tochel and his brother Francis who moved to Scotland where I'm from approximately in the 1860's.
Terence married in Glasgow in 1871 and from his marriage certificate his father Owen Tochel is recorded as a deceased private soldier this is all the information I can find I have tried to find him through various ancestry sites with no luck, I'm hoping perhaps someone on here can hopefully find out some more information for me as I don't even know his date of birth date of death etc, thanks

Death registration didn't start in Ireland till 1861. Nancy died before that so you won't find a death certificate for her. I searched 1864 to 1871 for Owen in the Clonfeacle area (registration districts Dungannon and Armagh). Did not find him which suggests he died pre 1864. Searched Griffiths Valuation c 1860 for the family but again did not find them. Can't think of nay other sources that might record them apart from the parish records which you have evidently checked already. Clonfeacle's RC records start in 1816. Getting back any earlier will be difficult.
Neither Tohil (and variant spellings) nor Judge were very common names in Armagh & Tyrone and I could not find any in Clonfeacle parish in Griffiths. Clonfeacle straddles the 2 counties in case you didn't know.
