Nancy McParlan and Peter White both from county Armagh, and born approximately 1790-1800- Son Christopher born about 1823.  He served in the military during the War of 1812 and was given a land grant  in Perth Ontario and resided there in 1816..

    These events are well before the start of statutory birth and marriage registration in Ireland (births 1864 & non RC marriages 1845). The only likely trace of them might be in church records. You haven’t said what denomination the family was, but there’s a lot of churches in Co Armagh and without some idea of where in the county they lived it could be a needle in a haystack.

    You could try rootsireland (a subscription site) which has some Armagh church records on-line but be aware that a lot of church records are not on-line yet, and also that a lot of churches don’t have any records for the late 1790s. Many Church of Ireland records were lost in a fire in Dublin in 1922 and some never kept any records in the first place.

    The most complete set of church records for Co. Armagh is in PRONI (the public record office) in Belfast. But you have to go in person to view them and you would need to allow quite a bit of time to go through them all. Possibly 2 days.
