Looking for any history about Andrew J Geraghty born 6 Oct 1867 this is the date on his grave stone. He came to America in 1893 this is the date on the United State Federal Census in 1900. He was a saloonkeeper, He married Mary Elizabeth Moylan on 3 Oct 1894 they had 5 children 4 boys and 1 daughter they live Baltimore City, Maryland, USA. My Great Grandfather Andrew J Geraghty died in 24 May 1906 in Baltimore City, Maryland USA. This is what is printed in the newpaper The Baltimore Sun May 1906 after his death. Andrew J Geraghty a Saloonkeeper at 733 Ensor street, died yesterday morning at his home. He is survived by a widow, who was Miss Mary E. Moylan, and four young childern. Two brothers and a sister also survive--Messrs. Michael J. and James T. Geraghty and Mrs. Mary Hession. His civil birth record (last on page) https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1867/03462/2271155.pdf shows October 3, 1867 but very close to the headstone info.Mother's name was Winifred Mullany.
They were married in Tuam in 1851. See transcription below from the subscription site Roots Ireland. I also located baptismal records for four older children Mary 1852 (likely died young) James 1858 John 1861 Mary 1864 There may have been other children. I looked for death records for John and Winifred. There appears to be an index record for a Winifred Geraghty who died in 1872 in the Tuam area.
