Hi

I am travelling to Ireland next year and would like to visit some of the areas that my family had connections too.

I've traced my Farrelly roots my great, great, great grand dad Lawrence Farrelly (1863) as far as we know was born in Meath 1863 however the only evidence of this is on his headstone.

At some stage he immigrated to Australia where he later married by 1886, this is however all the information I have on himself and his family.

Any help would be much appreciated thank you.

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

Roots Ireland had three baptismal records for a Laurence/Lawrence Farrelly in Co. Meath from 1858-1868. One record was in 1858, another in 1862 and the last in 1867. The transcription of the 1862 record is below. For now, I would say this record is a lead until you can confirm his parents names.

Have you considered autosomal DNA testing?
