Hello! After 3 years of being a member I'm FINALLY taking the time to post and ask about my GG Grandparents John Ryan & Honora Stapleton. They married on 8 March 1859 in Upperchurch, County Tipperary and were the parents of 6 boys that I can find . . . . John (b. 1856) Upperchurch and then immigrated to Idaho, United States; Patrick Michael or Michael Patrick (b. 1860) Rieska, Kilcommon, also immigrated to Idaho, United States; Thomas (b. 1862) Rieska, Kilcommon and died 27 July 1897 Bahagha, Cappagh; Daniel (b. 1863) Templederry and died 8 May 1931 Bahagha, Cappagh; Edmond (b. 2 Dec 1865) Silvermines; and last Cornelius (b. 24 May 1868) Garryglass, Silvermines, also immigrating to Idaho after marrying Sarah Maher on 22 February 1892 Cappaghwhite, Cappagh.
Both John and Honora are alive in the 1911 Ireland Census living at Bahagha (Glengar, Tipperary). I found she passed away 10 January 1915, Bahagha, Cappagh. I have not been able to locate a firm death record for John Ryan. It appears he must have been at a different location when he passed.
Their son Daniel (b. 1863) married Margaret Sweeney 20 November 1887 Kilcommon. Daniel and Margaret stayed in Ireland, but their son, Daniel (b. 1902) immigrated to Illinois in 1926. His obituary of 1968 indicates he still had a sister Margaret (b. 1901) and brother Cornelius (b. 1904) alive in Ireland at the time (no mention of either being married). Daniel (b. 1863) died 8 May 1931 Bahagha, Cappagh and his wife Margaret Sweeney Ryan died 18 April 1961 Bahagha, Cappagh.
I'm seeking additional information on any of these family members as well as what happened to Margaret and Cornelius.
Thank you,
Tesa

Hello Tesa, as no one locally has picked up your query it is difficult as Ryan is the name in Tipperary and I understand from a Ryan cousin there is is nearly impossible to sort them without some reference name. I looked at the information you gave which is comprehensive and done a few checks on Irish Genealogy which I assume you are aware has marriages up to 1941 and deaths to 1968, births only to 1919 I think. https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/
I searched marriages in Tipperary (search all Ireland and select the various Tipperary registration districts) Without doing a comprehensive search I found two Cornelius Ryan marriages from 1920 to 1941 both with father John and both fathers listed as Farmers, if you look for deaths you will have a lot of Ryan deaths to locate your one and hope person present is recognised or the address is given if the death was in a hospital or say at the daughter in law as in the 1915 death.
There are a number of Facebook pages on Tipperary Genealogy, one on DNA only but the others may have someone you recognises your story, they are private but apply to join and usually takes about 24 hours, they are well moderated.
I am uploading the two marriage entries from the Civil Registration section, the church records are not available for Tipperary on the site.
Good Luck,
Pat
