I'd like to know more about where James lived and if he had any siblings and if any of his family stayed in Ireland.
I have found a baptism record for Turlough, on his birth record it states his parents are John Kearns & Sarah Kearns née McHale on the baptism record Kearns has been spelt Kerns.
James left Ireland for Liverpool, I'm not sure when although I believe he must've done so on his own. In the 1911 Census he is listed as married and lived in Kirkdale.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I checked on the subscription site Roots Ireland and the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie and located one sister Anne born in 1864. See civil record below. They lived in Cloonnagleragh townland in Turlough civil parish. I was unable to locate a marriage record. I did not find a death record for James or Sarah and they were not in the townland in 1901.
Maybe the entire family left for Liverpool.

Thank you for this information Roger, I've not yet come across anything to suggest that everyone had left, do you know if their parents are possibly burried there?

Sorry about asking if they're buried there, I misread your reply, thanks again for your help!
