Could anyone help in tracing James and Mary McGowan (from south county Sligo) who emigrated to Bradford-UK
in late-1800s? Their son, Richard, was born in Bradford/Horton Workhouse in 1903 and died 1953. His descendants
live on in Leeds.

I have checked the marriage record for James McGowan and a Mary but there are 10 people with these names between 1887 and 1914 alone, and that is if they married in Sligo and in Ireland
Maybe you can give us an estimated birth year of James and Mary or you might even know Mary's maidenname? The more details you can give us the bigger the chance that we can help
