Griffiths Valuation data (tax survey) from around 1855 in Co. Galway shows a few Hushen records and a number of Hussion/Hushin records primarily in East Galway. The most common variant name would be Hessian.

Do you have any information on your Hushen ancestors who left Ireland e.g. name and approximate year of birth? Depending on how far back they lived in Ireland sone records may be available.

Thank you for getting back to me! I sadly do not have any of those records but I have heard about those name changes and being from East Galway. Is there anyway I could find anyone with that last name in Ireland now?

There is an online Irish phone book which is only a partial list of phone users. I did not see any Hushen records. There a good number of Hession records but I would not contact any of them since there is no way to prove any connection.
