help finding Thomas Donohoe family

If your Donohoe family was from Co. Cavan and you can't find any baptismal records, there are two possibilities. First, you may not have the correct maiden name for the wife of Thomas Donohoe or the RC parish where the baptisms occurred does not have records available for the 1830s and 1840s. Lavey RC records are not even included since the baptismal records start in 1867  https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0848  There are a number of other RC parishes that have late start records.

I did a search on Roots Ireland for all of Ireland for baptismal records of any children of Thomas Donohoe and Mary Looby. One record came up and I'm sure this is for an unrelated family. It was a record for a Honora Donoghue in April 1851 in Co. Limerick.

--Mary Looby's name might also be given as Mary Donohue in her children's birth records.

--Mary's first name might also be given as Ellen or Elizabeth (saw these names on some U.S. records).

--Honoria can also be Honora, Nora, Honor.

--Ellen can be Helen or Eleanor.
