I have a more than passing interest in the origin of the area called Glasheen, Glasheen Road, Glasheen school, etc in County Cork.  I know of a book published years ago reviewing the history of Glasheen, but have not been able to find a copy.  If anyone knows the who’s, what’s, why’s, etc. I would be grateful for the information.
