My gg-grandparents were Michael Heeney (Gilheaney) born in 1845 in Greaghrevagh. I think his parents might be Patrick Gilheaney and Mary Bridget Dolan. Ann Heslin, born in 1845 in Greaghlass. I believe her parents were John Heslin and Bridget Condon.
Michael and Ann were married in 1869 in Ballinamore Catholic Church. I have baptismal records of six of their kids. They came to the US in 1883. Supposedly Michael had a sister name Delia Foley.
Any info would be appreciated.

Hi Christine,
In the 1901 Census, there is a Gilheaney family - address is Canabel, High Street, Ballinamore. Bridget age 50 (widow), her son James age 25, daughter Alice age 14, and niece Bridget Gilheaney age 8. I have seen the baptism records for their children in Oughteragh parish, but you most likely have also seen them, as you have the birth certs. Kind regards, Teresa
