Looking for any information on the Fleming family of Buttevant Cork Ireland. My Great Grandmother was Minnie Fleming from Ballinguile Buttevant Cork, born about 1860 to Edmond /Edmund Fleming and Bridget McCarthy. Minnie came to Australia in 1888-1890. In 1893 she married Walter Henry Lincoln in Toowoomba Queensland Australia. Edmond / Edmunds Father was Garrett Fleming 1794 -1869. From letters I have from old cousins of my Great Aunt, the Flemings were farmers and married into families with surnames of Burns, Keating.

Per RootsIreland (paid subscription) Edmond/ Edward/ Ed and Bridget/ Biddy were married in 1850 in Ballyhea, Cork Garrett Fleming was a witness. They had at least 10 children all born in Ballinguille- John 1852, Elizabeth 1853, Michael 1855, Bridget 1857, Thomas 1858, Mary 1860, Patrick 1862, Ellen 1864, Johanna 1866, and Honora 1870.
