Fanning and O'Brien families

My name is Jennifer Grice and last year I received some very valuable information on my great grandmother Ellen Fanning DOB January 1857, daughter of Michael Fanning and Bridget Griffin. I think that the family may have lived in Fethard street when my great aunt Johanna Fanning was born in January 1881. I am fairly confident that both were baptistery at St Peters and Paul's Clonmel and that perhaps Michael and Bridget were married there. I have tried to contact the church to see if I could look at their records when I visit Clonmel in April 2018, but so far have h ad no luck with a reply. During my visit I would also like to confirm if Michael Fanning, Ellen' father had a prison record.  I have been very happy with all the information the Ireland reaching out has provided me with.
