Here is what I know about my great grandmother Ellen Logue was born in July 1870 in Londonderry, which I assume is now Derry. She had imigtrated to the US and died about 1901 in Sacramento, Calif. She married a Cornelius McCann also from Ireland. Her might have been John Logue and a Margaret Bond. Any information would greatly be appreciated.

The names Londonderry & Derry are both still in use. One has not replaced the other.
There’s no birth in July 1870 but there is one on 15th Feb 1870 in Gosheden near Londonderry to John Logue & Margaret Bond. Father was a coachman. (Ideally you should try and get your Ellen’s parents names from a marriage or death certificate in the US to be sure of identifying the correct person). I wouldn’t worry too much about the discrepancy in the birth date. In the 1800s people rarely celebrated birthdays and often didn’t know exactly when they were born. If officialdom asked them for a date of birth they often just made one up.
I found some siblings for Ellen, all births registered in Londonderry:
John Logue b 3.9.1864
Bessie Logue 1.5.1868
Catherine Logue 22.12.1861
Martha Logue 7.10.1873 Gosheden
There’s a death of a John Logue, coachman, in Londonderry on 7.3.1900 aged 57.

Bessie B 1868 married Edward Martin in Derry on 20.11.1903. Here’s the family in 1911 with widowed Margaret Logue:

This looks to be John Logue in 1911:
He had married Mary Ann Doherty in Strabane on 27.4.1904.
