I'm trying to find the above who was my 2 x gt grandfather who migrated to London, England in the early 1800's, he married Elizabeth Bowers or Power 23 Aug 1825 in Lewisham, Kent and only on the 1851 census does he record that he was born in Irerland as you can see from the attached census, he was a tanner by trade. It's very difficult to read the place in Irerland but has been taken as Kinsale. I've put lots of messages on the Cork/Kinsale board but with no result. I wonder if it's not Kinsale but another town in Ireland?

Hi John!
For whatever reason, we are having issues which prevent people from attaching documents. Maybe you can go to the bar above and on the right hand side there are twon icons which looks like a paper clip. You want to use the second one where the clip is laying on its side. See if that helps attaching documents.

Volunteers,
I know about the Kinsale one as I originated it but now I'm trying from a different viewpoint in All Ireland!

Hi - my ancestor, Thomas Sheen left Cork for London in early 1800's. From what I can tell, was Born 1806 in Cork, but was married in London in 1826. He named on e of his sons Edward, so could have been a family name.
