Edward and Mary Tobin of Clonmel Tipperary

Hello   I am asking for help also    Do you have ay info on Matthew Ryan and Julia Tobin whose parents were Mchael Tobin and Bridget Murphy and lived in the Bansha area  county Tipperary   > Laurie Thompson   Australia

I found a few records on Roots Ireland which could be leads in your search. There were two 1807 Edmund Tobin nbaptismal records in St. Mary's Clonmel. I also found an 1830 baptismal record in the same parish for a Margaret Tobin with parents Edmund Tobin and Marie Lamb. I did not find a marriage record for that couple and I also did not see a baptismal record for Thomas.

Sorry for the delay!  I assume Matthew Ryan married Julia Tobin. Did they marry in Tipperary and what year? I assume Julia's parents were Michael Tobin and Bridget Murphy. What was the year of birth? The Bansha records are not on Roots Ireland but some of the records are on FindMyPast.ie

I'm working on Tobin family.  I have a Michael Tobin & Bridget (Devereux) Tobin.  I think there were 5 or 6 kids.  Ellen Mary born in 1889, Michael born in 1885, Johanna in 1883, and Patrick in 1882.  I've been told there is also a Lena and possibly a Jacob. All the kids shown were from New Inn.  Maybe there is a connection.

I have no idea whether this is a link but I have Michael Tobin who married Julia Strap and their son James Tobin in my family heritage. James married Georgina Louisa Montgomery in Madras in 1861. Many descendants. 

According to my information James Tobin was born in Clonmel in 1836.
