Duffy family

The more I search the worse it is lol
My Duffy clan are from east mayo which is now part of rosscommen apparently. ..
My lot put bohola foxford ballyvary swinwford and ballsghdereen on Yorkshire census from 1861 onwards
My ggrandfather was John Duffy b 1801 and all his children were down as mayo born Mary Margaret Hannah Catherine John & Patrick
John married a Harriet? Am thinking bout 1830 cos Mary n 1833
The first mention in Kingston upon Hull Yorkshire is Margaret b 1835 married Walter lowery b 1826-33? in St Charles Church Hull 1854
Every census has a few years out on each birth
Can find no Walter Lowry in Mayo at all sadly
Ultimately I only know John Duffy lived a long life he was still alive aged 90 and I decended from Margaret Duffy & Walter Lowry
It's so exhausting with little info till 1860's
Also as different areas appear on UK census as mentioned above and no last name for johns wife Harriet
Am on ancestry UK and also have a DNA profile on my heritage

I would love to know exactly where I came from

I live in Galway Ireland but too ill to travel to mayo
