Is it possible that Mary was born in 1872 rather than 1879? See this civil birth record  https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1872/03221/2180872.pdf  last record on the page. They were living in Milltown townland in Drumlane civil parish on the Co. Fermanagh border. In fact, their RC parish was Knockninny in Co. Fermanagh. It appears Mary was the oldest of at least six children: Philip 1874 Margaret 1878 (died young) Ann 1879 Margaret 1885 Edward 1888.

Roger it is alway possible and the name i have for mother is not a sure thing, and that seems like right area. on the passenger list when she came in 1896 her age is 19 , in census record here 1900 her age is same as abt 1879 , in 1911 census for Killashandra her age is the same about 1879 . On passenger list her birth date is 1877 .

The only other possibility is this 1879 record https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1879/02917/2068758.pdf  third on page-- where this Mary was born actually in Fermanagh in the same parish I had for Anne Martin.

Thank you so much .. for your help the parents that i did have for her i was not sure of . Also i was not sure of her place of birth i guessed it was Killashandra because that is where mary went back to. And i also have family the Reillys from Killashandra and Drumcrow 1835 i have to ask about and Geoghegan and Daley from Cavan county cavan .McManus from county Fermanagh..

Till or if i find out differently i go with this one and try to get Dna proof...

My McManus family maybe from same place in Fermanagh Margaret McManus born 1839 father thomas and Catherine i have the names of all her brothers and sisters and who they all married. I will write a post for her later ... in correct place ...

I never new of this site till other day .. i been doing research sence 1970 ..

My great grandmother was Annie Doonan born December 3,1879 Milton Fermanagh Ireland. Parents were John Doonan and Anne Martin. She emigrated to New York USA in 1897 where is married Benard Fitzpatrick and gave birth to my grandmother in 1903. She had a brother Edward born 1888. He is the great grandfather of my cousin whom I have a DNA match to.
